School functions under the Ministry of Tamilnadu State Education. The school caters to Classes VI – XII. The Government School’s mission is to support the education of the poor and the under privileged children. A sizeable percentage of the population living in and around the school belongs to lower economic strata.  Over the years the school has been making conscious efforts to provide quality learning environment that prepares students for a fast-changing world.
